Africa is said to be where the history of humans began. There are many different beliefs regarding how humans first appeared. However, it is known that after a while the first humans created tools made out of stone and flint. This is known as the Stone Age. Most of the earliest pieces of art and artifacts from the Stone Age have been found in Africa. The earliest civilizations appeared in 3000 BC. Ever since there have been many tribes that are still around today. Some places have been industrialized and there are now cities.

GeographyAfrica is the second largest continent in the world and is one of the two countries with the warmest climate in the world. The equator runs through the center of the continent, and as a result the northern and southern countries have a subtropical climate. The temperatures on the areas along the equator are obviously warmer. The land ranges from deserts to tropical forests. Most people live in savannas, which are large grasslands above and below the equatorial belt. Their temperatures are more extreme and they receive less precipitation. Deserts are below and above the savannas. The temperatures in the desert can be very hot.

CultureAfrica is a very culture rich continent. Most people speak a local language in their home village so they can communicate to their neighbors. However, they do speak an international language that they use to communicate to those living outside of their home village. Very few Africans can read or write because they don’t get the opportunity to go to school. However because this affects the communication with the government, people are being sent to the United States to get educated. They are expected to come back to where they are from and help educate others and improve the communication with the government. Religious festivals are very popular in Africa. Because of the differences in religion from area to area, most of the holidays vary depending on where you are on the continent.
